
12 Nov The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Equatorial Guinea and the Official Council of Physicians of Spain sign a collaboration agreement
The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of Equatorial Guinea and the Official Council of Physicians of Spain (CGCOM) sign a collaboration agreement for advice, among other aspects, in the creation of the Official Council of Physicians of Equatorial Guinea.
“This is an important institutional act with regard to the health system in our country and, specifically, in the process of organizing the health system since we comply with one of the objectives of the National Health Development Plan (PNDS) in terms of to the governance and provision of quality health services to the population”, declared Vice Minister Mitoha Ondo’o.
The CGCOM vice president, Dr. Mª Isabel Moya, explained that it is an agreement that is aligned with “our objectives and our reason for being. It is a pride to be able to help and to be a reference for a country like Equatorial Guinea”.
The meeting also advanced in the creation of the Faculty of Pan-African Medicine, framed in the III Africa Plan designed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation and of which the CGCOM is a part.
