Spain sympathizes with Equatorial Guinea and sends humanitarian aid to assist those affected by the explosion in Bata

AECIDThe Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) of the Government of Spain shows solidarity with Equatorial Guinea and sends a charter plane with humanitarian aid to attend to those affected by the explosion of a military arsenal in Bata. In this way, Spain responds to the international appeal for help made by the Equatoguinean authorities. New shipments of material are planned, as well as medical professionals to reinforce the great work that our healthcare professionals are doing.

This first shipment of humanitarian aid is made up of pajamas, face shields and masks, gloves, trauma and rehabilitation material, dressing material, operating room material, gauze and compresses, mosquito nets, drugs and PPE, among other basic health equipment in our hospitals.

It is also expected, shortly, the arrival of reinforcement Spanish medical professionals, among which there would be general surgeons, orthopedic and traumatology surgeons, emergency and emergency doctors, operating room nurses and emergency room nurses.
